Chemical & Petrochemical

CH2M HILL has a long and proven history with processing facilities projects. Skilled in all technical aspects of petrochemical and chemical manufacturing, CH2M HILL's multidiscipline staff specializes in vessel and reactor design, metallurgy, rotating equipment, furnace and heater specification, multiple types of heat exchangers, and custom equipment design and modification.

From engineering through construction and start-up, CH2M HILL manages entire projects including pilot plants, demonstration plants, and full-scale process units.

High-Definition Surveying - 3D Laser Scanning

Our High-Definition Surveying (HDS) - 3D Laser Scanning capability provides you with instant, real-time field data collection, benefiting your projects by expediting design schedules and improving the overall design process. By streamlining data gathering, HDS captures "as-built"/"as-found" information from any man-made or natural structure for any application. In minutes, complete surface geometry is safely and accurately collected.

To optimize efficiency, raw (point cloud) scanner data is imported into a 3D CAD environment and used for new or retrofit design, reverse engineering, 3D modeling, and 2D drawings as well as comprehensive virtual 3D "walk-throughs" displaying critical tie-in points and potential interferences.

Pipelines & Terminals

CH2M HILL delivers a full scope of engineering, procurement, project management, construction, construction management, and operations and maintenance (O&M) services to oil and gas pipeline clients worldwide.
